The Odyssey Litehouse rim is designed for real street and skatepark riding, where the wheel takes constant abuse from grinds, hard landings and fast lines. In BMX, the wheel is one of the most heavily loaded parts of the bike, so the Litehouse was built around a clear goal: keep the weight low while maintaining a strong, reliable structure.
The rim is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, a proven material in BMX wheel building. It offers the rigidity needed to keep the wheel stable under heavy riding while keeping the overall weight at just 475 grams. The 35 mm width is optimized for modern, wider BMX tires, allowing the tire to sit more securely on the rim. This results in a more predictable feel when pumping transitions, carving lines in the skatepark, or landing hard.
One of the key features of the Litehouse is its thick, angled sidewall design. This shape helps reduce the chance of damage during grinds or hang-ups while maintaining the structural stiffness of the rim. The fully welded joint creates a strong, single-piece structure, which is essential for a durable BMX wheel.
The spoke holes use directional drilling, allowing the spokes to follow a more natural line toward the hub. This improves spoke tension balance and results in a stronger, more stable wheel overall.
The Litehouse reflects Odyssey’s approach to BMX parts: clean design, solid engineering and a rim built to handle real riding.
