The Odyssey Knarps Cable Ends are a small but clever detail designed to keep the end of your brake cable clean and secure. After cutting a brake cable to length, the braided strands can easily start to fray and spread apart. The Knarps cable ends solve this with a simple and reusable design.
Instead of being crimped with pliers, each cable end is secured with a small set screw. Once the cable is cut to the desired length, the Knarps end is slid onto the cable and tightened with an Allen key. The set screw locks the cable firmly in place and prevents the strands from unraveling.
