The Salt REVO crank doesn’t try to build a myth around itself. It’s a well-thought-out, function-focused component built to work under real load. The Salt line has always been about making BMX predictable and reliable, where every part works together as a system. The REVO carries that approach forward in a clean, technical direction.
Salt is the parts brand backed by the same group behind WeThePeople, the development mindset is the same: real-world riding experience translated into practical, no-nonsense components. It’s not about overloading specs, but about making sure everything works when it actually matters.
The arms are made from heat-treated chromoly, using a tubular square profile. This isn’t just for looks. During grinds, the reduced contact surface helps prevent hang-ups, while the structure stays laterally stiff. Under load, it doesn’t twist but transfers power directly into the drivetrain.
At the center is a 19 mm, 8-spline chromoly spindle. This standard strikes a solid balance in BMX: strong enough for heavy use without adding unnecessary weight. The sealed MID bottom bracket sits securely in the frame, requires minimal maintenance, and keeps a consistent, smooth rotation over time.
With sprocket bolt bosses on both sides, you can run left- or right-hand drive without compromise. The REVO isn’t overbuilt or overhyped, it’s a crankset designed to perform exactly where BMX riding puts it to the test.
