The éclat Burns V2 is a top load stem where geometry and material choice work together to deliver a tight, precise front-end feel under real riding conditions. The 50 mm reach combined with around 23 mm rise creates a higher cockpit, which is not just about comfort but actual leverage. It makes lifting the bike easier and keeps movements more controlled during technical riding.
The body is fully CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The internal cutouts are not random weight savings but are placed to keep material where the load actually occurs. Because of this, the stem resists flex even under lateral stress, which is critical when the front end takes repeated impacts and torsion.
The 6 mm bolts feature a larger head diameter, providing more even clamping force across the faceplate. This reduces point pressure on the handlebar and helps prevent slipping, even after harder landings. The threads are made from CrMo, making them more resistant to wear and deformation over time.
With a 22.2 mm bar clamp and 1 1/8” steerer compatibility, it fits standard BMX setups. The 32 mm stack height gives enough surface area for solid clamping without unnecessary bulk. The design also allows the stem to be run upside down, offering a subtle way to fine-tune front-end height.
This is not a stem built for looks, but for staying solid under load and giving consistent, precise feedback.
