These headsets are crafted from TRUE 6061-T6 Aluminium and come with high quality semi sealed headset bearings made in Japan. These bearings come pre-packed with high temp grease ensuring a smooth spin is kept throughout the life of the bearing. Why semi sealed over sealed? Semi sealed headset bearings allow the bearing to spin more freely due to the non-contact seal. Fully sealed headset bearings are designed for BMX bikes and dirt scooters where they are highly susceptible to dirt and grit on a regular basis. Fully sealed headset bearings are overkill for scooter riders.
