The Sunday Knox V2 sprocket carries forward the classic guard sprocket concept from Sunday, but with a cleaner and more refined approach. The V2 version features updated CNC machining that gives the sprocket a sleeker, more technical look while maintaining the tough, durable character riders expect from the Knox line.
The sprocket is made from 7075-T6 aluminum, one of the strongest and stiffest materials used in BMX drivetrain components. This is not only about durability. A stiff sprocket delivers a more direct pedaling feel, allowing power from the cranks to transfer efficiently through the chain to the rear wheel.
One of the key elements of the Knox V2 is the full guard design. The outer guard wraps around the teeth, helping protect both the chain and the sprocket from impacts during grinds on rails, ledges, or other street obstacles. This becomes especially useful when the drivetrain side gets close to the obstacle during technical tricks.
Five rotatable bolt hole positions allow the sprocket to be repositioned on the crank. If one section takes repeated hits, it can simply be rotated, helping distribute wear more evenly over time.
The Sunday Knox V2 is built for the realities of street riding: strong, well-engineered, and ready to handle daily sessions and heavy spot hunting.
