Colony Swarm Planetary Freecoaster Rear Hub RHD - Black

The Colony Swarm Planetary Freecoaster rear hub is one of the biggest breakthroughs in modern BMX. Built around Freenight’s revolutionary planetary internals, it combines the lightweight feel of a cassette hub with all the advantages of a freecoaster. This means you get almost instant engagement with minimal slack when pedaling forward, while still enjoying the full freedom of a freecoaster when rolling backward—smooth and without unnecessary resistance.

This hub is available in RHD (right-hand drive) with a 9-tooth driver and a 36-hole design. The solid male axle adds even more durability, while the hub’s weight is just 512 grams (without guards), striking the perfect balance between strength and lightness. The unique planetary system is designed to run dry—no grease or lubrication is needed—ensuring a consistently clean and direct feel every time you ride.

The Colony Swarm comes in a sleek black finish that matches any setup. Whether you’re riding street or park, this hub delivers the precision and reliability today’s riders demand. The Colony name has long been a guarantee of high-end BMX components, and the Swarm continues that tradition—taking the freecoaster experience to an entirely new level.
